Let us know what you think about our Fall Fundraiser here: click to open the survey.

There is no minimum (or maximum) contribution. One euro is as welcome as fifty. For this pilot, the number of people who take part matters more than the amount each person gives. The Fall Fundraiser will end when we reach the upper limit or the end date of the fundraising permit.

Materials at SWAMP are free for all, and we are committed to keeping them free. Nobody is expected to contribute financially, and nobody is asked to contribute in order to use SWAMP.

.

WHY ARE WE FUNDRAISING?

Support from Kone Foundation gives us the stability to continue developing our work until the end of June 2027. Through this fundraising pilot we want to find out whether voluntary financial contributions could become a part of SWAMP’s sustainability after the grant period ends. We are committed to keeping the service free for everyone to use, and we must develop other income structures.

Everyone who can, and wants to, has the option support SWAMP financially during the fundraiser. Contributions are voluntary.

HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT SWAMP IN OTHER WAYS?

Whether you can give cash or not it would mean a lot to us if you can take a moment to respond to a short, anonymous, survey about this pilot, and the notion of fundraising as part of SWAMP’s future: click to open the survey.

Please continue to support SWAMP by choosing to use the materials we rescue for your creative projects.

HOW WILL WE SPEND THE MONEY?

The funds raised will support practical costs such as rent, transportation, and staff time. Our end of year financial report will show exactly where your contributions went.

What does it cost to keep SWAMP afloat each month? People: 9634€; Space: 1650€; Logistics: 300-600€.

Since SWAMP opened in October 2024, we have had 3,210 visits, and 31,390 items have left the material bank for reuse. According to the Vihreä Taide carbon footprint calculator, since January 2025, this reuse has avoided more than 43,000 kg of CO₂e emissions. The calculation covers about 70% of the items, so the real saving is higher.
